　　英語(yǔ)中有句諺語(yǔ)：“模仿是最真誠(chéng)的恭維”(Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery)。科學(xué)家的研究表示，模仿的重要性不僅如此，還可能是人之所以為人的根源。嬰幼兒時(shí)期，人們就開始模仿周遭的人，學(xué)人吐舌頭，把耳朵靠近電話聽筒，向給自己打招呼的手揮手。等我們成年后，遇到心儀的人會(huì)不自主地模仿對(duì)方的身體語(yǔ)言，和朋友買一樣的紅鞋子，網(wǎng)購(gòu)明星同款。也許很多人不愿意承認(rèn)自己是模仿者，然而科學(xué)研究表明只有人類才能建立高度組織化的社會(huì)文明正是源于模仿。獲得知識(shí)有兩種基本途徑，一種是嘗試—犯錯(cuò)—嘗試，這種方法無(wú)疑是最直接、最有開創(chuàng)性、也最受尊敬的，但它效率極低;另一種就是模仿，模仿使得人類得以快速地掌握復(fù)雜的語(yǔ)言和社會(huì)文化，相當(dāng)于“抄了小道”。人類不僅有意識(shí)地模仿具有直接功能目的的舉動(dòng)，還會(huì)無(wú)意識(shí)地模仿那些看起來(lái)多余且無(wú)稽的言行。
